Sports Fun Week

Sports Fun Week is a popular and most anticipated Summer Outreach Programme that “REACH” provides for the local young people in the Portadown and surrounding areas. All this Fun takes place @ Killicomaine JHS school grounds (kindly granted).

These past numbers of years “REACH” have invited qualified Christian Coaches in tennis, football and volleyball to come along and teach their skills to the enthusiastic young people.

Gary Craig who is a Youth Evangelist also comes along and challenges the hearts of the young people with the Gospel. Several young people invited Christ into their lives this summer past! What amazing news!

Two sessions are held throughout each day Juniors P5 to P7: from 9.30 – 12.30pm & Seniors Year 8 +upwards from 1.30- 4-30pm.

In each session the Sports are rotated so that every group of young people have a opportunity to go to Challenge Time with Gary (15min), buy something healthy from the Tuck Shop! (lol) and enjoy the rest of their time running around participating in their chosen Sport!
